After reading The Emperor’s Egg by Martin Jenkins, students were assigned a penguin research project.  They each received their own penguin to read about, learn about and create using their artistic talents.

"The amazing King penguins look like they are wearing
bright orange collars."

This student learned about the Chinstrap penguin.

Here is the Humboldt penguin who is “about 10lbs. and live on the coasts of Peru and Chile.”

The penguins are all on display in the lower grade hallway.
Waddle on down to check them out!
